These floors are best known for being waterproof, yes waterproof! Imagine a small leak, an animal who has an accident, or children that spill without a thought for cleaning it up – these are the floors we can live on!
Type of Materials
-
Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)
LVP is made from polyvinyl chloride resins (PVC) that are melted down, combined with other chemicals, and then pressed together into planks - in multiple layers - with the intent of imitating real hardwood flooring species, colors, and textures.
-
Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)
The process of making LVT is similar to LVP; however, the final product is to imitate stone and ceramic tile offering colors, patterns, and textures of natural stone and tile materials.
